Pilates classes are held 2-4x/week virtually through Instagram and Zoom.
Some of which include contemporary mat, classical mat, basics, stretching, and massage.
You are more than welcome to come as you are, which can look like keeping your camera on/off, staying out of frame, staying muted, or resting, all are okay. Class will be recorded and posted to my On Demand page for you to check out and take on your own time.
I am now offering my classes On Demand!
At the start of class, AM will ask, “how are you doing, how is your body doing? Is there anything that you need out of class today?”
Your responses curate each class. The more you come the more she will know what to offer based off of what you're working on, what you’re thinking about, and what you need.
Ann-Marie likes teaching Pilates to people who have never done Pilates before, people who are curious, people who have an injury going on and are looking for more insight, people who practice living in their bodies, people who want a deeper understanding to how their body works, people who are friendly, people who are prenatal and still want to stay connected to their changing body, people who are postnatal and looking to reconnect with their bodies, people noticing what their daily life does to their body and want to help balance that out.
Classes are FREE. Donations $0-$25 will be accepted and greatly appreciated (venmo at @annmariegover).
A percentage of the weekly proceeds go to organizations and communities such as:
The Okra Project
The Trans Women of Color Survival Fund
Emergency Release Fund
The Loveland Foundation
Affinity
Black Youth Project 100
The Brave Space Alliance
